Earlier this evening, the News Hour program on PBS interviwed an author, Andrew Keen. He argues, ‘democratization’ of the internet has an adverse effect on content quality. He preaches, information should be compiled and disiminated by traditional media, known news papers and TV stations. He said, bloggers are wasting their time by telling us what they ate for breakfast.
OH, well, what a world of BS this is! I wonder how much money they paid him to say these things? This is one of those arguments that made you speechless of their utter baselessness. What a load of crap!

My wife was thinking – had Prime Minister Meles known what he knows now, would he have given up Asseb (our only outlet to the see) so wrongfully to the Eritrieans, and as a consequence commit such a mother all strategies mistake? Is he such wicked to let such a life line for 10s of millions of people go? Not to mention our collective rightful property for that?

I just heard on NPR that China is intending to send one of there military engineering units to Darfor, Sudan to “help” in the peace keeping effort the UN is organizing there.
For this gestore, China reportedly gets thousand dollars per month salary for each person deployed there, a valuable field experiance for the units, most importantly an offensive against folks out there who are calling for all to avoid going to the next Olympics to protest Chinas’ support of the Sudans current administrations’ reportdly support and participation in the murder and rape of thousands of Darforians.
Folks, Africans are getting screwed by the Chinese like there is no tomorrow.

Happy New Year to all.
BBCNews.com: ”A thousand years from now, when Ethiopians gather to welcome the fourth Millennium, they shall say the eve of the third Millennium was the beginning of the end of the dark ages in Ethiopia,” he said.
